  • CEO & Ecosystem Technician

    Amanda founded Green Feet in 2012 after 10 years of working in various environmental stewardship roles across Canada and North America. Her extensive credentials and education include a Masters of Science (MSc) in Capacity Development and Extension from the University of Guelph, MSc in Natural Resources Management at Lakehead University, Environmental Techniques at Georgian College, Environmental Conservation at the University of Guelph, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Anthropology from the University of Waterloo. She strives to create a business that represents a blend of science across multiple disciplines with good ol' fashioned tacit, hands-on, and land-based knowledge.


  • Communications Manager

    Leslee is an energetic and purpose-driven communicator with 9+ years of experience in the marketing world. She's a creative thinker, strategic planner, and brand enthusiast who loves to work collaboratively. Her expertise lies in digital marketing and communications, as well as conscious content creation and graphic design. She's shared her skills with leading marketing, sales, and tourism companies across Ontario before joining the environmental field with Green Feet!

  • Step 4 Consulting

    Victoria lends her skills to us as a Systems Strategist around issues where the environment intersects with people’s rights. She is a climate change expert extraordinaire with 30+ years of working in various strategic roles within the environmental field. She’s worked across politics and organizational development before turning towards more grassroots operations. She’s also a long-time collaborator and top Canadian expert in Aniishnaabe relations and Environmental Project Design and Execution. We’re thankful to collaborate with her on an ongoing basis! 

  • Matachewan First Nations Lands and Resources Manager

    Cathy is an Indigenous Land Management Champion. She represents her community and her ancestors at a number of industry tables, including the Ministry of Transportation, Temiskaming Forestry District, Mining, and Energy. She lends her lifetime of expertise to our projects as an Indigenous Land Manager and Leader

  • Francis Chua Consulting

    Francis's experience is in the development, implementation, and practice of Environmental Compliance, Stewardship, Sustainability, and Corporate Social Responsibility. Francis graduated from The University of Western Ontario with a degree in Biochemical and Environmental Engineering and a degree in Environmental Science. He previously held the position of Director in a progressive career that spanned 17 years with Bruce Power L.P. with increasing accountabilities in the areas of Environment & Sustainability, Environmental Management & Programs, Community & Indigenous Relations, and delegated responsibilities in the areas of Regulatory Affairs and Corporate Affairs. He aspires to leave this world having made a difference in the lives of others, and from our experience working with Francis, he sure has. 

  • Francis Chua Consulting

    Kayla is an advisor in both Environment & Sustainability as well as Community & Indigenous Relations, supporting Indigenous organizations and not-for-profit community groups. Kayla’s academic background is in Civil/ Environmental Engineering Technology from Conestoga College and she has furthered her education through online certifications in various climate change and sustainability subjects. Kayla also holds a Cross-Cultural Environmental Awareness Training Certification and is a Certified Technician (C.Tech.) with OACETT. Her experience working within both the nuclear sector and consulting field has helped her to facilitate discussions between various proponents and Indigenous communities. It's also made her a great asset to our team!

  • Black River Foraging Company

    Rachel's recent management role with the Northern Ontario Indigenous training organization, Keepers of the Circle, saw over $675K invested into the development of 2 food forests, a regional seed bank and an extensive food sovereignty curriculum. She specializes in funding acquisition, personnel coordination, project development, management and program delivery. Rachel is completing her studies as a Clinical Herbalist and lives off-grid with her husband and 4 children in the west end of Timmins, ON where they operate their small ecological farm, Waxwing Commons.

  • Dalhousie University

    Brandon's extensive CV testifies to his expertise in machine learning, UAS/ drone communications creation, and remote sensing imagery collection and interpretation. He has worked extensively with OMAFRA, MNRF, and Canadian forestry associations, lending his expertise to national-level strategies in creating accurate technical information from remote sensing and GIS-based analyses.

  • University of Guelph

    Helen has extensive experience working in knowledge mobilization through her role as Associate Professor of Capacity Development and Extension at the University of Guelph. She lends clarity towards leading engaging techniques for community contexts, safe technological stewardship methods for application, and innovation management for unique research ideas. Broadly defined, her research traverses information, knowledge and communication in both agricultural and rural innovation systems. 

  • U-Links Canada

    Andy has been the Director of U-Links since 2021. He holds a B.Sc.F. in Forest Science from the University of New Brunswick and a Ph.D. in Ecosystem Ecology from the University of Alaska. For 32 years, he was a professor in the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of Guelph, where he taught and researched in the broad areas of Agroforestry and Forest Ecology. Andy has a strong appreciation for sustainable agriculture, locally sourced foods and the impacts of climate change on food production systems. He also has a strong interest in the interaction of aquatic and terrestrial systems and has conducted research on these linkages in and around Haliburton. He is dedicated to finding logical solutions to resource management and societal problems and welcomes input from all sectors.

  • The Sustainability Project Ontario

    Thorsten works as food system advocate, analyst, and design consultant and has dedicated his work life to promoting climate resilience in its various facets. He holds a B.A. eq in Environmental and Process Engineering (BTU Cottbus), MSc. in Marine Environmental Sciences (CvO Univ. Oldenburg, Germany), and Ph.D. in Irrigation Management at Watershed Level (Univ. Hohenheim, Germany). His extensive academic training uniquely bridges the two pillars of climate dynamics: the global greenhouse gas forcing and the role of regional land use and agriculture. Overall, climate change, resilience and adaptive governance of a changing world are the guiding pillars of his impressive work.

  • Stevens Solutions & Design Inc.

    A Mi’kmaw born in Nova Scotia, Barry has held positions in both management and engineering roles in advanced development laboratories, anti-submarine warfare product design, HF communications, business development, training, product sales, and production management. At his last place of employment, he was V.P. of Operations. Since 2001, Barry has supplied communications and custom designs for use in corporate communications, instruction and eLearning, security, defence, government agencies, global corporations, non-profits, and Indigenous organizations.

  • HR Specialist

    Cindy is a super ambitious Business Human Resources specialist who has over 10 years of professional experience in the field. She's a proactive problem-solver, possessing elevated business and operations acumen honed through a progressive career history, diverse industry knowledge, and accomplished education. We call her our Fairy Godmother because when we have dreams, she helps to make them a reality!

  • Indigenous Aerospace

    Jacob is an indigenous entrepreneur and Otter Clan member of the Mississauga Nation, holding traditional responsibilities for health and education. He has been examining the impact of drone programs on First Nations since 2016, and his current aerospace focus is both professional and academic. He studied Aboriginal Health Policy as an undergraduate, then First Nation Policy Leadership as a graduate degree in Education. As CEO of Indigenous Aerospace, he continues to work towards ensuring Indigenous peoples benefit from drone technology and retain the revenues from those businesses in their communities.

    Nick has been working in the field of ecological restoration for nearly 20 years, starting his career in a horticultural capacity and later developing skills as a designer. He now provides both professional design and project management services for private and public sector clients. As a certified Landscape Architect, his expertise spans all project stages including environmental impact assessment, permitting, conceptual and detailed design, procurement, and contract administration for construction. As an ISA-certified arborist, Nick also provides expert tree assessments. His strength is in finding practical and appropriate solutions to meet client goals and agency requirements.
